Responsibilities

  • Engaging with clients and internal team to build brands from conception to launch
  • Partnering with the Creative Director to establish distinctive and visually ownable conceptual brand territories
  • Developing brand concepts across all touchpoints including identity systems, package design, web design, photo/video asset development, digital marketing for launch
  • Presenting concepts and designs to clients, confidently, continuously and kindly pushing back to keep them from going rogue
  • Translating client feedback, briefing designers
  • Managing client, third party and vendor communication through some parts of creative execution in collaboration with our Director of Creative Services & Production
  • Ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery in line with SOWs
  • Multi-tasking and navigating a fast-paced environment
  • Contributing to thought-leadership projects that support our purpose-driven agency initiatives specifically in sustainability, female empowerment and the amplification of BIPOC founders

 

Skills

  • 10 years of experience with a design background
  • 2+ years of experience in an Art or Design Director role (associate or higher)
  • Experience in branding and marketing for personal care, wellness, food and beverage categories
  • Experience in developing custom package designs
  • Knowledgable about sustainable design practices
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of the DTC CPG project workflow
  • Experience in developing marketing campaigns in a digitally native world
  • Experience in marketing asset creation (photography/video art direction, management and implementation)
  • Excellent client-facing presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud apps, Figma or Sketch, Google Suite
  • Basic knowledge of web, email and social CMS platforms
